Ilona Marie Pociunas began her dance training at Westside School of Ballet in Santa Monica, CA.  Upon graduating from Marymount High School she was accepted to the Sacramento Ballet where she performed for five years.  Recently, Ilona performed with the company as a guest artist for their production of Balanchine’s Theme and Variations and Ron Cunningham’s Carmina Burana.  Ilona has been living in Los Angeles for the past three years and has freelanced and performed with Santa Monica Contemporary Ballet and Earthwalk Dance Company. She joined Monat Dance in 2010.  She is currently enrolled in St. Mary’s College LEAP B.A. program and has also received her education and certification in massage therapy.  Ilona would like to thank her family and friends for their loving support.
